THE WONDERS OF MY BEAUTIFUL ECUADOR

Ecuador is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, with impressive fauna, rich forests, architectural heritage and a variety of cultural expressions. Ecuador also has an extensive archaeological heritage of churches, monuments and baroque architecture.

·         The Galapagos Islands

The Galapagos Islands were declared a national park in 1959, protecting 97.5% of the archipelago. The rest of the territory was occupied by human settlements that existed at the time of declaration.

In 1986, the waters surrounding the islands were declared a marine reserve; in 1978, UNESCO declared the Galapagos Islands a World Heritage Site, and in December 2001, the Galapagos Islands were extended as a marine reserve.

The Ruta del Sol (Manabí and Guayas)

Ecuador's Ruta del Sol or Ruta del Pondillas is a government tourism initiative designed to introduce tourists to the beautiful beaches along the E15 Troncal del Pacifico or dozens of world-famous beaches in the provinces of Esmeraldas, Manabi, Santa Elena and Guayas. Via del Pacifico, world-famous.

It has a first-class road infrastructure and is part of the Spondilla route that includes other areas. Some "initiatives" have other names that limit its expansion, such as the Santa Elena-Manabi highway.

    The city of Cuenca

The city of Cuenca is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the Andes, attracting visitors with its cobblestone streets and colonial architecture. It is no coincidence that this city is known as one of the most permanent places to live in the world.

The charming old town, the friendly people, the great cultural and historical strength, the pristine parks and squares, the clear rivers running through the city, the splendid blend of local and foreign industries, as if it were a European metropolis, are just a few of the outstanding features of this South American oasis.

    The Ruins of Ingapirca (Cañar)

The name Ingapirca means "Walls of the Incas" and comes from the Quechua language. It is a set of ruins that will transport you to the distant Inca era, where you can experience the unimaginable, as it is a gold mine for visitors to see from afar. The structures are unique, with carved stones where the Incas worshipped the sun god, and water channels used for ritual bathing.

    Quilotoa Lagoon (Cotopaxi).

It is said that the Quilotoa Lagoon was formed after the collapse of the volcano of the same name, this lagoon is considered one of the most beautiful in the world because it is not only a tourist attraction but also has different flora and fauna, a unique gastronomy of the Ecuadorian Andes, the long route that takes the tourists is unique because it is like an adventure in which you can have several options and you will have the ability to make the right choice.

    Cuyabeno (Sucumbíos).

Cuyabeno is considered the first ecological municipality of the province of Sucumbio and has an extensive fauna that makes it unique from other provinces with several attractions that we can visit, we have attractions such as El Encanto, La Represa, Santillana, among others. Not every day you can see pink dolphins, but in this place you can see them with your own eyes, so come to the Cuyabeno Reserve, where you can see the most special dolphins and we can tell stories.

Yellow Lagoon of the Altar Volcano (Chimborazo)

Altar Volcano Yellow Lake is located in a crater that no one would believe, and the snowmelt and minerals found in it formed the name Yellow Lake. It is a wonderful place for hiking, climbing and all that its name means "Mighty" or "Lord of the Mountain" and you will not regret it.

One recommendation I can give you about these places is that they are all incredible, none is the same as the others because they are in different biomes, they have different gastronomy and architecture, Ecuador is a small country, it has really incredible places, it has a great biodiversity that other countries would envy, for these and many reasons Ecuador is the country of kings, if you are a king, visit us!
